  • Weigh In: 263.0 lbs. (Mon. Nov. 28, 2011)

    Ugh! Shame on me that I haven't been keeping up with ANYTHING! I'm going through some personal issues that is causing me some physical pain to where I cannot go out and exercise like how I'd like to. Yeah so just put me in The Cone of Shame, right?

    Alright so, I just weighed myself and it came back 263.0 lbs. I am a bit happy about that but not so much; because, I've been eating very, very bad ever since Monday, and Monday was my weigh in day. On Monday I turned around and did exactly what I told you and everyone else I wasn't going to do and that was eat fast foods. Yes, hypocrite I know.

    So, let's write down what I've done wrong.

    I haven't been walking twice a day like I said I was going to.
    I've been eating fast food every single day.
    Wasn't watching my portions.
    Hardly ever drank water.
    Not making video's nor took pictures of what I ate. Not even writing down what I've been eating.

    Now, let's talk about what I'm going to change this week.

    Going to be walking twice a day.
    I'm going to try not to have any fast food this week.
    Watch my portions a lot more carefully.
    Drink nothing but water, tea and milk.
    Make video's, take pictures of what I eat; including writing them down.
    I'm NOT going to be taking my roommate to work. Nor am I going to be having lunch with him anymore because it causes me to have fast foods.
    Remain positive and put my goals in front of me so I can reach them.

    Again, I do apologize that I haven't been doing my best and that I did in fact let myself go this week and it is very unacceptable. I'm still not going to give up. I know I can still do this! -MsDjHoodie (In Real Life)

  • Food & Exercise | Nov. 19 - 20, 2011

    Alright, I know yesterday I didn't write down what I ate so I'm doing it now along with what I had today.
    Also, I'm having a hard time recording for some reason but I am going to do my best. I'm also nervoud because I feel like I haven't lost ANYTHING. I don't know why I'm saying that but it's just how I feel. Maybe it's because I'm doing more work and don't have any videos to show that I'm actually working hard for this weight loss. But in the back of my mind, I ask "What's the rush? I'm doing this for the rest of my life. I'm going to get there eventually." But if you're like me, you want to see active results and that's where my mind is at. I'm not going to stress about it of course, it's just that, I'd like to show you guys in full effect of what I promised you guys. But I'm sure that when tomorrow morning comes, you and I will see. If a bit disappointed, we will go over my mistakes together and we will find out all my falses and go over on how I can fix them. I am not going to give up!     (1) Small Diet Coke

  • Like A Bright Red Tomato

    Okay so; me, my parents and my roommate went to Tucson, Arizona for business. I tried to make video of the trip but something went wrong with my video camera on my phone. The screen has a red tint to it and everytime I tried recording myself, I literally looked like a bright red tomato. I reset everything on the camera and it still stayed the same. I charged my battery up all the way, I shut off my phone and turned it back on thirty minutes later and its still remained the same. So from now on (until I get me a real video camera) I'm going to be recording in black and white. I know it might look and be a little boring with no color, it'll have to do for now.

    So here's my menu for yesturday; its 1:06am in the morning so I'm going to go ahead and jump into bed. See you guys tomorrow with somefresh videos. Promise!

    Breakfast (6am):
    (4) Pieces of Hotwings
    Handful of Potato Chips
    (1) Pickle
    (1) Cup of Water
    (1) Cup of Milk

    Lunch:
    (1) Side of Mac and Cheese
    (1) Chicken Thigh (Baked)
    (1) Cold Tea
    (1) Cup of Water

    Dinner
    (1) Medium French Fry
    (2) Chilli Cheese Dogs
    (1) Large Diet Coke
    (1) Jalepino Cheese Bomber

    Supper:
    (1) Chicken Sandwich
    - Mayo
    - Slice of Tomato
    - Lettuce
    (1) Pickle
    (2) Cup of Water
    (1) 44 oz. of Diet Coke Caffeine Free

    Regrets:
    The only thing that I regret is the second chilli cheese dog. What did I tell you? I'm indeed getting better because usually when I have chilli cheese dogs, I have about (4) of them with an extra french fry because in my mind, they always give me a little bit.     I was luvin' the hell out of yesterday. I was recording videos like crazy on my cellphone and had actually made them into a video on Youtube.



    Now, if I can remember EVERY meal I had yesterday, I'm going to post them right now.

    Breakfast/Lunch:
    (1) Chicken Sandwich on a White Hamburger Bun
    - (1) Slice of Tomato
    - Mayo on one side of the Hamburger Bun
    (1) Pickle Spear
    (1/2) Cup of Regular Coke (Not Diet)
    (1) Cup or Water
    Handful for Potato Chips

    Dinner:
    (1) Chicken Sandwich on a White Hamburger Bun
    - (1) Slice of Tomato (Thick Cut)
    - Mayo on one side of the Hamburger Bun
    (1) Pickle Spear
    (1) Can of Coke (Not Diet)
    (1) Cup of Water
    Handful of Potato Chips

    Supper:
    (1) Large Plate of Chicken Salad
    - (2) Strips of Chicken (Baked)
    - Graded Cheese (Mild)
    - Ranch Dressing
    - (1) Cup of Water
    - (1) Can of Coke (Not Diet)

    Regrets:
    Yes! There's only (1-2) things that I regret; and that's that I had (2) Cans of Regular Coke. But everyting I am quite happy with. So, that means, I'm doing BETTER!!!! -MsDjHoodie (In Real Life)

    Update: Alright so, me and my roommate decided that we would have Jack In The Box... for the last time. I'm going to tell you guys what I had and then I will explain 'why' this was the last meal of 'eating out' and away from home.

    Dinner: (1) Chicken Sandwich w/ Extra Mayo and (1) Slice of Tomato, (5) Hashbrown Sticks, (1) Medium Diet Coke, (2) Taco's w/ No Hot Sauce.

    Now, before I explain what I had for Supper, I will explain why this is our last 'eating out' meal.
    My Mom and Dad returned from their day trip to Flagstaff, AZ; and when they came back, they brought a big bag of chicken patties that they bought at Sam's Club. I was in heaven. I set the oven for 450, I got out a baking sheet, put aluminum foil on it along with two chicken patties (which I wish I only put one) on it and baked them for ten minutes (the packaging said 15-20 minutes but my oven is extremely strong so I put it in for only 10 minutes). My Mom also bought some delicious lettuce and tomatoes that she had sliced at the deli and I ate so damn good with as much mayo as I think I'm allowed to have on my hamburger buns.

    Supper: (2) Home-baked Chicken Sandwiches on White Hamburger Bread, Mayo on the top and bottom of the bun, (4) Slices of Tomatoes Total, (1) Regular Coke, (5) Hasbrown Sticks.

    Now, let's go over on what I regret.

    Regret: I regret the Chicken Sandwich number two, I regret putting mayo on the top and bottom bun(s), I regret the (2) Taco's from Dinner, I should have bought wheat buns instead of white, (1) Regular Coke instead of Diet Coke, and I also regret not having water with my meals. And here's the last one. I regret not walking in the morning AND evening. And you all should know WHY! ;)

    So yeah, I did HORRIBLE!!!! Shame, shame, shame! I'll do better tomorrow... but of course, I don't want to keep saying it; so I'll just prove it instead. Goodnight all! :)
  • Food & Exercise (November 16, 2011)

    Hey everyone! Okay so; I made a few video recordings on my cellphone but I'm having a hard time transferring the video's to my hard-drive so I'm just going to try again tomorrow. No excuses. And besides, if you guys are following me on Twitter, you would all know that I am currently looking for a good video editing software anyways to edit my video's so, that's another problem.
    Okay, now that THAT part is out of the way, let me start by telling you my activities today.

    Breakfast (715am): (2) Bowls of Corn Flakes, (1) Banana
    Exercise: Morning Walk (1) hr.
    Brunch (10am): Jack In The Box - (1) Chicken Sandwich w/ Extra Mayo and (2) Slices of Tomatoes, (5) Hashbrown Sticks, (1) Small Diet Coke.
    Dinner: (1) Chicken Leg, (1) Chicken Thigh, (4) Jalepino Cheese Bombers, (1) Biscuit, (1) Small Mac and Cheese, (1) Small Diet Coke.
    Exercise: Evening Walk (1) hr. (5) min.
    Supper: Jack In The Box - (1) Chicken Sandwich w/ Extra Mayo and (2) Slices of Tomatoes, (5) Hashbrown Sticks, (1) Small Diet Coke, (2) Taco's w/ No Hot Sauce.

    Regrets
    (1) Chicken Leg, (4) Jalepino Cheese Bombers, (2) Taco's w/ No Hot Sauce AND having no water with any of my meals.

    Thankful
    I'm thankful that I walked twice a day for (2) hours total, and I'm also glad that I had (2) bowls of Corn Flakes because I rarely ever want cereal but I am going to try and make that a habit.

    So there you have it! MAD SHAME!!! ;D
    Tomorrow, it is garenteed that I'm going to do a lot better. So I should be getting off here so I can get to bed. I gatta wake up at seven o'clock to eat my breakfast and head out for my walk. Anyways, thank you for reading my blog and I hope that it has too encouraged you to not give up even though there were a few screw up's.   • My Introduction & Motivation For You <3

    Alright so, I would say that this is my official first posting to MsDjHoodie "In Real Life". Let me introduce myself a little more. I'm 26 years of age, female, Native American from the Hopi tribe, I've struggled with weight ever since I was a little girl in elementry school. I was once 300 lbs. but lost 150 lbs. of it after high school. I attended construction school to keep the weight off until recently. I got terribly sick with pneumonia and wasn't able to eat in two weeks. Before my sickness, I weighed 170-175 lbs. and was wanting to lose 20 lbs. And when I overcame the sickness, I was slowly beginning to eat again. And when I did, I over did it. I gained 115 lbs. that I am now going to lose. 

    Do I feel shame? Of course! I used to be 300 lbs. and it took me a good while to lose 150 to get down to 150. But I do have confidence and motivation to do it all over again! 

    How did I do it last time? Believe it or not, but I did it Just By Walking!
    AND eating what I wanted to eat, just not a lot of it!

    "And I do plan on doing it again!"

    I know a lot of people say that dieting is not easy! Well, it just depends if you're head strong about it or not. It don't HAVE to be hard. It only is when you make it hard. I mean, you're STILL eating your favorite foods, you just gotta teach yourself portion control and I'm going to teach you guys on how to do that. 

    With all these tips and tricks and little exercise techniques, it's going to be super simple. If you're like me and you want to make this your lifetime lifestyle, then really, there's no way you're going to mess up. Why? Because you're going to be doing this for the rest of your life!

    Awe! Don't sit there and groan. You'll be fine! I promise. Just follow me and I'll show you the way into happiness. Not just towards weight loss but learning to love and appreciate yourself. 

    I'm going to be covering all emotional situations along with the physical ones; such as:

    1. Dealing with your feelings and fear when out in public.
    2. Wanting to find someone who would truely love you.
    3. Troubles with keeping yourself locked up inside your room/home.
    4. Being self-concious while in a relationship.

    And so on!

Hi all! Welcome to my weight loss weblog! Yes! Help has arrived but boy is it torture! No worries! MsDjHoodie is here, gettin' at'chu guys IN REAL LIFE!!! :D

I am currently 265.6 lbs. and my goal weight is to get back down to 150 lbs.

Once I reach 100 lbs. I will be available for "One on One" Motivational and/or Emotional Support. I'm not available for that at the moment 'because' I haven't lost much to be giving out any advice based upon my own personal experience.
But don't worry! That time WILL come!
